The Cab A4+ Barcode Label Printer is built in Germany to exacting specifications for industrial applications. It’s an economical, reliable, and effective solution to a wide range of labeling needs, capable of printing via direct thermal or thermal transfer on to labels up to 4.56” wide and 78” long, at resolutions of 200, 300, or 600 dpi depending on the printhead installed. Label rolls up to 8.25” in diameter with 1.5”-3” cores can be used. Flexibility: can be utilized in tear-off, peel-off, cut-off, print and rewind, or print and apply modes (with the Cab A1000 pneumatic applicator). When used as a print and apply labeling unit it can be setup to use a tamp pad, tamp/blow pad, or roll-on pad. It’s easily adapted to existing conveyor lines by mounting it to the optional heavy-duty printer stand. The label sensor operates in either see-through or reflective mode, and can be adjusted for irregularly shaped labels. Stand-Alone Operation: prints directly from a computer or it can be operated in stand-alone mode using label formats and data stored on a Compact Flash card (Cab label software is included with each printer). Via the large backlit LCD display and navigator pad the appropriate label format is selected and the number of labels to be printed is set. All machine parameters can also be set by means of this panel. No need for a dedicated computer! Computer Interfacing: standard ports include RS232 serial, hi-speed USB 2.0, and Ethernet 10/100 Base T. Optional interfaces available include a wireless 802.11b/g LAN card, Centronics parallel, RS422/485, and Twinax/Coax. A wide range of graphics formats, fonts, and barcodes are accommodated and the large 64MB of RAM and up to 1GB of Compact Flash card memory allow for complex layouts. Optional Accessories: such as a compact keyboard or external control panel can be connected via two master USB ports. Additional available accessories include a cutter, barcode tester, external rewinder, external unwinder, footswitch, palm switch, photoelectric product sensor, and extended peel-off plate. An RFID option is also available to read and rewrite transponders in smart labels. Stand & Printer Holder: an option that enables fast and flexible insertion of the Cab A4+ into the production line. The labeler position is easily adjustable for height, orientation, and horizontal positioning. The stand has casters for easy mobility and leveling pads for stable placement. Mount for Titan 1075 - the Cab A4+ Label Printer can be mounted to work in conjunction with many types of bag sealers including band sealers, impulse sealers and rollbag machines. There is special mounting hardware available to mount the A4+ directly onto a Titan 1075 Rollbag (see picture on left) machine to form a compact labeling and packaging system.
