| The Packaging Aids Corp. 552MED Validatable Band Sealer has been developed especially for the medical and related industries where the “seal integrity” of the pouches is a great concern. PAC/Audion now offers packaging machines that give precise control and validation of the seal temperature, jaw pressure and sealing speed. The 552 MED has an independent digital temperature controller on each of the two jaws that control the temperature up to 550° F (285° C). If the selected temperature parameters are not met, an alarm system will prevent the entry of the next pouch into the sealer. The sealing speed, which is adjustable from 0” to 400” per minute, has a readout in inches per minute so the speed can be precisely controlled. The sealing pressure, which has a readout in p.s.i., can also be precisely controlled. A control box with lockable cover is standard on the machine. The standard seal width is 7/16”. Options include a printer, embosser, pouch trimmer, pouch trimmer with vacuum scrap removal system, other seal widths. Download Packaging Aids-Audion 552MED Brochure (pdf) |
