Price-Driscoll Ultra 3 & 4 Mold Releases
Specialty - Specifically Formulated For Your Generic Plastic
The First Commercially Available Mold Release - In 1947, Price-Driscoll introduced the plastics industry to aerosol mold release - a separate one for each major plastics family. Special formulations worked better than the early do-all sprays. From those first “specifics”, the entire line of tailored aerosols has evolved to the most effective mold releases available today. THEY WORK! They get the tough jobs done--just try it. Also, all Price-Driscoll products comply with EPA regulations for stratospheric ozone protection.

ULTRA 3 Products
The Ultra 3 family of mold releases is the next generation of Price-Driscoll's time-proven Ultra products. This premium family of mold releases retains all of the desirable characteristics of Ultra II, but incorporates a non-flammable solvent (nPB) suggested by the Significant New Alternatives Products (SNAP) sector of the EPA. Ultra 3 mold releases are products that represent the fine balance of commitment to environmental responsibility, worker safety, prudent manufacturing practices and sound business economy. Use Ultra 3 on steel molds, but not on sensitive wax, plastic or rubber molds.

ULTRA 4 Products
The Ultra 4 group of mold releases is engineered for molding plastics that exhibit solvent sensitivity. Ultra 4's are a highly sophisticated family of solventless mold releases. Cycle times are faster and production is more efficient as no time is lost waiting for a solvent to evaporate. Release agent is fast drying with the same time proven and active ingredients found in our other Ultra mold releases. The propellants and active ingredients also support commitment to environmental responsiblity, worker safety, prudent and economically productive manufacturing practices. Use Ultra 4 with complete confidence on wax, plastics or rubber molds.

Acrylics - Discontinued - use Price-Driscoll Blue Label Ultra 3 or Ultra 4 Universal Mold Release.

Anti-Static Spray - Is useful for controlling static electricity in all types of plants. Anti-Static Spray is a semi-durable anti-static which will dissipate electrostatic charges accumulating on plastics, synthetic fibers, paper, hard rubber, glass or other surfaces. Light applications work efficiently and last for long periods of time.

Anti-Stick for Food Processing - Is the best mold release to use when molding or fabricating materials that come into primary or secondary contact with edibles. The active release agents in Anti-Stick comply with F.D.A. regulations and the propellants and diluents are not considered food additives as they evaporate almost immediately. FDA Approved.

G.P. Polystyrenes - Discontinued - use Price-Driscoll Eject-It #32 PMR Broad Spectrum U.L. Release.

Nylon - Has been developed especially for type 6/6, type 6, type 6/10 and type 11 nylons. Much less of this release is required for nylon than any other “universal” type of release and the parts are released much more easily. Much lower pressures are needed for ejection and up to 60 releases from each application can be achieved.

Polycarbonates - Discontinued - use Price-Driscoll Eject-It #31 U.L. Paintable Polycarbonate Release.

Polyethylene - Is formulated especially for low density, medium density and high density resins. Polyethylene Mold Release will not cause stress cracking associated with silicone type releases. It offers up to 60 releases per application.

Polypropylene - Is specially formulated for polypropylene to give the maximum number of releases (up to 45) per application without resin degradation. It will not carbonize and is heat stable to temperatures above the degradation temperature of the resin. Available only in the Ultra 4 formulation.
